EFT Electronic Fingerprint Files (ATF eForms) in Naperville, IL

ATF eForms accepts an EFT (.eft) electronic fingerprint file in place of mailed cards, and it processes faster. Who needs this?

You need this if you’re filing an ATF eForms application, or any submission that accepts an EFT electronic fingerprint file, and want a faster alternative to mailed cards.

Your EFT file comes with the 2x2 photo ATF eForms requires. FD-258 ink cards are a separate item, priced individually. EFT is most common for ATF eForms, but any agency that accepts an electronic fingerprint file can use it — ask us if you’re unsure.

How it works

  1. Call or text 847-436-5222 before you come in. Walk-ins are welcome, but because we also run mobile appointments, a quick call makes sure someone is at our Naperville location when you arrive.
  2. Bring your valid, unexpired Driver’s license and, if you have it, the ORI or agency information for your submission.
  3. We capture your fingerprints and generate an EFT (.eft) electronic fingerprint file you can upload — most commonly for ATF eForms (Form 1, Form 4, or the 5320.23 responsible-person questionnaire). We also provide the 2x2 photo ATF eForms requires, so your EFT file and photo are ready to submit together.
  4. Filing on paper instead? Physical FD-258 ink cards are a separate service and can be done in the same visit. The EFT file and the FD-258 cards are separate items, each priced individually — order one or both. Efficient Biometrics captures the prints and provides the file or cards; we don’t submit your application.

After your prints are done

Efficient Biometrics captures your fingerprints and provides your EFT file and/or FD-258 cards. We do not file your application or receive your background-check results — the ATF or the issuing agency handles that.
